Since 2024, FAIRTEK has served as the incumbent contractor responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of an Enterprise Appointment Scheduling Modernization Platform (MVP) for a large U.S. federal agency. The platform is a mission-critical modernization effort to unify and replace legacy scheduling systems used across a globally distributed enterprise. It supports high-volume, public-facing appointment scheduling and is engineered for expansion to adjacent case types and crisis-response operations.
FAIRTEK leads the full lifecycle of the platform’s development, including requirements analysis, human-centered design, Agile delivery, and DevSecOps implementation. The solution is built as a cloud-native, AWS-hosted platform using modular microservices, API-driven integration patterns, and automated CI/CD pipelines aligned with federal security and compliance standards. Our team conducts global user research across diverse field sites to ensure the system meets operational needs at locations of varying size, volume, and technical maturity.
Key responsibilities include integration with enterprise identity services such as Okta, implementation of fraud-prevention and risk-mitigation capabilities, and development of advanced administrative tools for capacity management, reporting, and operational analytics. FAIRTEK collaborates closely with agency stakeholders to ensure the platform’s architecture supports high availability, global scalability, and Section 508 compliance.
Through this effort, FAIRTEK has demonstrated its ability to modernize complex, globally distributed government systems; deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions; and support mission-critical operations with minimal risk and maximum operational impact.
